Honey Hive Quest – 72 Irregular Verbs Board Game (PDF)

Turn irregular verb revision into a journey to the hive! Honey Hive Quest is a printable board game for 2–6 players or teams. Learners follow the honey path while practising 72 irregular verbs and sentences in the Past Simple and Present Perfect.

The spinner determines both the move and the task: giving the past simple form, the past participle, all three verb forms, or making affirmative sentences, negatives and questions. Special spaces add variety. An easier option focuses on V2 and V3 forms.

One board – three print layouts

• 1 A3 sheet: the complete portrait board. It can also be reduced to A4.
• 2 A4 sheets: landscape pages joined top to bottom; approximately 27 × 38.2 cm.
• 4 A4 sheets: portrait pages joined in a 2 × 2 arrangement; approximately 38 × 53.7 cm.

The gallery shows one complete board. All three layouts are included in the PDF, so there is no need to choose a version when purchasing. The 15-page total includes repeated board layouts for different printing sizes.

Print your chosen layout, cut out the components and prepare the pieces. Print multi-sheet boards at 100%, following the included guide. A standard six-sided die can replace the spinner.
